Vintage hats survive in a variety of conditions. Some remain beautiful almost pristine, some show wear and tear, some are
severely crushed and misshapen. What can you do with these hats? The beautiful can of course be treasured as they are -
worn, put on display, or stored. Many that show wear and tear or are misshapen can be refreshed and repaired. The severely
damaged may be salvaged for parts - sometimes the decorations can be revived and reused, sometimes the hat can be cleaned,
reclaimed and reformed.
Besides creating new hats, it brings me great joy to restore vintage hats. Many of the hats go into my personal collection.
